Shirring/Gathering Screw Adjusting Presser Foot

This simple to use foot gathers a single layer of fabric. Use with regular sewing thread or elastic thread to create gorgeous summer dresses and skirts. This a combination adjustable combination stitching or shirring foot. Amount of gathering is controlled with the real screw. Turn clockwise for more gathering. It will sew like a regular sewing foot with the rear screw turned completely out.  

This shirring foot will also fit many Household and Industrial sewing machines with high shank presser foot system -  1 inch tall, from the center of the fastening screw to foot bottom.
