Sausage bead weights are great for “trainable cording.” Used as piping for shaped valances to weigh drapery hems; ideal for sheers and light to medium-weight fabrics. By increasing the weight of the fabric, curtains are encouraged to hang correctly. As a result, panel curtains appear flatter, while folds in gathered curtains appear fuller.
